Derivation of ES cell lines from mutant mouse lines The GTTF provides derivation of ES cell lines from mutant mouse lines. We have successfully derived ES cell lines from 129SVEV, 129SVEV X C57BL/6 F1 hybrid blastocycts and other mutant mouse lines. Investigators who have mice ready should contact the GTTF . 2-4 stud males between 6 wks to 8 months old and 4-8 females of 4wks old are needed. If the mice are housed outside the GTTF mouse colony, the female egg donors will be superovulated and mated with the studs by the users. The GTTF will provide hormones and detail schedule and instruction for superovulation. The GTTF will collect blastocycts and start derivation of ES cell lines. The fee for the service can be found here. We guarantee at least 2 cell lines derived. Three vials of ES cells with passage number lower than P7 will be provided for each line.
